Traceable & Responsible Sourcing

• 100% Traceable Supply Chain: Established meticulous record-keeping practices, with a particular focus on responsibly sourcing cotton from complex regions such as Xinjiang, China.
• Fairtrade Certification: Successfully onboarded Fairtrade International to three manufacturing partners, enabling two of them to achieve Fairtrade certification for the first time.
• Certified Standards:
  • Achieved brand licensing for the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) and Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certifications (IDFL approved).
  • Ensured the majority of materials used meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and bluesign® APPROVED standards.

Industry Leadership & Compliance

• PFAS-Free Commitment: Led Backcountry Gear & Apparel (BG&A) to achieve 100% PFAS compliance as of January 2024, positioning the brand as an industry leader ahead of legislation.
• Recycled Materials in Branded Franchises: Spearheaded initiatives to transition BG&A franchise products to fully recycled materials.

Responsible Packaging & Design Innovation

• Recycled Packaging & Trims: Transformed packaging and trims to feature sustainable components, including:
  • Recycled poly bags
  • Recycled satin care labels
  • FSC-certified recycled paper hangtags
• Purposeful Design with 3D Technology: Integrated advanced 3D apparel design tools (Browzwear) to implement responsible design practices, creating timeless, durable gear while reducing material waste during the development process.
